Hi, I’m Julie Abate, president of Across Town Notary and Document Solutions. I love meeting new people and visiting new places, and my role as a Mobile Notary and Signing Agent allows me to experience those bonuses while completing my work. In addition, I have used my AA degree in Paralegal Studies to acquire decades of experience as both a legal assistant and paralegal specializing in estate planning, probate and property deeds. In my 25+ years as a Notary and 11+ years as a Signing Agent, I’ve enjoyed unique experiences, including signings in a maternity ward waiting room, and sharing “witness” duties with a herd of deer in a family’s backyard!

Each of these roles has allowed me to provide excellent customer service in a business environment, earning clients’ trust with professionalism, efficiency, and enthusiasm for a job well done. More than supplying a needed business service, I care about my clients and want them to stay informed on the process, confident that every box has been checked, and errors avoided. I’ve served scores of clients over the years, and in 2021 alone, handled 800+ loan signings, including purchases, sales, and refinances.

That's when I decided to branch out and extend my knowledge and success to working with other Notary Signing Agents as a Signing Service.

After decades of fast-paced work in the legal field, I enjoy the flexibility of being able to set my own schedule and be there for my kids' activities. My experience in the legal field gives me extra knowledge that only increases the value I bring to my clients and I'm happy to pass that benefit along to them!

Many big-name signing services charge a $75 cancellation fee whether or not there is notice or if it's last minute. Across Town Notary does not charge a cancellation fee. We believe in relationships, not in charging fees.

Personal Time: When I’m not making sure every I is dotted and T crossed, I love spending time at the lake with my family, romping with our dogs, and dabbling in nature photography. Free time is spent on volunteer activities, participation in the local Chambers of Commerce activities, and catching up on action/adventure and SciFi movies. I have a hard time choosing which I love most: chocolate, coffee, wine tasting, or Italian cuisine!
